Schola Assessment Centre
A dedicated examination facility in Girne, North Cyprus, being prepared for the delivery of internationally recognised English language and academic tests.
The centre is not yet approved to deliver any examination, and no test dates are available. This page describes work in progress and will be updated as approvals are granted.
Why we are building it
Students in North Cyprus who need an internationally recognised English language or academic test currently travel off the island to sit one. For a school-age candidate this means a flight, an overnight stay and a parent taking time off work — before the test fee is counted.
Schola Education Centre has prepared students for international examinations since 2021. The assessment centre is intended to remove that journey, so that candidates in Girne and the surrounding region can sit their tests locally, under the conditions the awarding organisation requires.

The facility
The assessment centre occupies a separate building on the same street as the teaching centre, so that examination sessions run independently of the daily teaching timetable. It is being fitted out to meet the room, equipment and security requirements set by awarding organisations.
